Flygt

When the old floors in the heavy assembly plant at ITT Flygt needed replacing, the company contacted EU PLAST AB to enquire about suitable new surfaces. The floors were in very bad shape. The concrete was not only oily and grimy, but it was also uneven and badly pitted.

EU PLAST AB recommended Peran SL, which has an extremely good track record for both wear resistance and impact resistance. With the greatest of care the concrete was repeatedly shot-blasted blasted before being evened out with a diamond-grinder. All the cracks and joints were opened up and filled with a flexible epoxy filler before the reconditioned concrete was primed with a low-viscosity epoxy primer. Badly damaged areas were filled with epoxy and then the entire floor was treated with a self-levelling epoxy compound. The smooth surface has produced a floor which is bright, pleasant to look at and walk on and, not least, extremely easy to maintain.

"We are very impressed with the way EU PLAST AB has transformed our old, worn-out floor into a brand new, purpose-built industrial surface. The company works in a commendably proper and highly professional way."
