In conjunction with the construction of a new bottling unit Åbro brewery contacted EU PLAST AB to work together to find a suitable, long-term flooring alternative. Conventional solutions were excluded because of the acids used during the production process, so EU PLAST AB recommended a chemical-resistant surface with very good resistance to impact and abrasion. The concrete was shot-blasted and grooves were cut around all the floor drains and edges. The substrate was then primed with a low-viscosity epoxy primer to guarantee the very best adhesion before the seamless, chemical-resistant surface layer was laid in place.The same solution is also ideal in fork-lift recharging rooms, purification plants, etc.
